Order online for pickup Whole meats, pans of rib tips, ribs, macaroni & cheese are available to order online. Pickup will happen once per week (usually Friday), if you need to arrange pickup on a different day email us to check avails

About us

Willow Run Barbecue Co is a family owned Texas style BBQ Food Truck specializing in wood fired, slow smoked premium meats and sides.

We started pop up style serving out of a tent to prove our concept and quickly moved to a full service food truck to serve you better.

Our pitmaster Jesse Yoder has a rich BBQ history and takes great care to smoke our top quality meats to perfection.

Why Willow Run?

Willow Run is a neighborhood in Ypsilanti MI, it got its name because of a small river in the area.

It’s most notable for 975 acres that were owned by Henry Ford that became home to a manufacturing complex named Willow Run in the 1940’s.

From 1942-45 the B-24 Liberator was produced there & the plant was where Rosie the Riveter originated as many women joined the workforce while the men were deployed.

Our name & B-24 Liberator in the logo pay homage to the heritage of the area.
